Legendary Hollywood Actor, James Stewart was born as James Maitland Stewart in Indiana, Pennsylvania, on May 20, 1908.

His first Hollywood appearance came in 1935, leading to a career that spanned 70 years as one of the most beloved and popular actors of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Jimmy Stewart has been named number 3 among the greatest actors of all time by the American Film Institute. Nominated a total of 5 times during his career, James Stewart won the 1941 Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in The Philadelphia Story.

He also rose to the rank of Brigadier General in the United States Air Force.

James Stewart died on July 2, 1997, at the age of 89.

Eleanor Powell was born as Eleanor Torrey Powell on November 21, 1912 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

With her film debut made in 1935, Eleanor Powell would go on to star opposite many of the top leading men of the Golden Age Of Hollywood, including Jimmy Stewart, Nelson Eddy, George Murphy, Fred Astaire and Robert Taylor.

Eleanor Powell passed away from cancer on February 11, 1982.
