Nominated as Best Actor for nine Academy Awards, he won the coveted honor twice for his performances in "Captains Courageous" (1937) and "Boys Town" (1938). Spencer Tracy passed away from heart failure on June 10, 1967, at the age of 67.

Katharine Hepburn was born on May 12, 1907 as Katharine Houghton Hepburn, in Hartford, Connecticut. She is considered to have been one of the finest movie actresses from the Golden Age of Hollywood, and was a close companion of Spencer Tracy. Nominated for an Academy Award an amazing 12 times, Katharine Hepburn won the coveted honor a record 4 times for: "Morning Glory" (1933), "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (1967), "The Lion in Winter" (1968) and "On Golden Pond" (1981). Kate Hepburn passed away on June 29, 2003.
