Jack Dempsey, known throughout the world for holding the heavyweight title between 1919 and 1926, was known as the "The Manassa Mauler". Born on June 24, 1895 in Manassa, Colorado, he was briefly married to Estelle Taylor between 1925 and 1933. Jack Dempsey passed away on May 31, 1983.

Estelle Taylor was an actress of minor note during the silent movie era. She was born on May 20, 1894 as Estelle Boylan in Wilmington, Delaware. She is probably best remembered for being the last person to have spent time with Lupe Velez before her suicide in 1944. Estelle Taylor died on April 15, 1958 of Cancer.
