Here we have an 8" x 10" photo from the funeral services of former US First Lady, Lady Bird Johnson. First Lady Laura Bush is talking to Luci Baines Johnson and Ian Turpin while attending the services for former First Lady, Claudia Johnson. Lady Bird Johnson was born on December 22, 1912 as Claudia Alta Taylor near Karnack, Texas. She received her nickname "Lady Bird" as a small child.

In 1934 Lady Bird met Lyndon Baines Johnson, then a Congressional secretary visiting Austin on official business. They were married in November 1934.

Her husband went on to become the 36th President of the United States. When his Presidential term ended, the Johnsons returned to Texas. LBJ preceeded Lady Bird in death by 34 years. Lady Bird Johnson passed away on July 11, 2007.
