Here we have an 8" x 10" photo of the "184 Beams Of Light" memorial held at the Pentagon on the 5th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The 184 beams represented the 184 victims who lost their lives at the Pentagon. The original image was taken on September 11, 2006. DOD photo by Petty Officer 1st Class Chad J. McNeeley. On September 11, 2001, American Airlines flight 77 left Dulles International Airport on a scheduled flight to Los Angeles, California. The fuel-laden Boeing 757-223 was hijacked, along with 3 other commercial aircraft that day, and was intentionally crashed into the Pentagon at 9:38 AM. Two additional aircraft destroyed the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and a third crashed in a Pennsylvania field.
