2006 World Trade Center Photo Tribute In Light Memorial - B-G21-A216
Absolutely Stunning Archival Quality From A Professional Lab!
Quality Assured! Please note that this photo has slightly wider borders at the sides as shown. Here we have an 8" x 10" photo of the "Tribute in Light" memorial which was held in remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001, to honor the citizens who lost their lives in the World Trade Center attacks. The two towers of light were composed of two banks of high wattage spotlights that pointed straight up from a lot next to Ground Zero. This photo was taken from Liberty State Park, N.J., on September 11, 2006. U.S. Air Force photo by Denise Gould. On September 11, 2001, American Airlines flight 11 was hijacked soon after takeoff from Boston and diverted towards New York where it was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 AM. Soon afterwards, at 9:03 AM, United Airlines flight 175 was intentionally flown into the South Tower. Both towers later collapsed. A third hijacked aircraft was later flown directly into the Pentagon, and a forth crashed in a Pennsylvania field.
