Here we have a vintage photocard of silent movie actress Edith Johnson. This is in very good overall condition (better). Approximate size is 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".
Edith Johnson was a native of Rochester, New York, born on August 10, 1894. She became very well known to the public because of her role as the official "Kodak Girl" with her photo being used in hundreds of Kodak advertisements across the country.
She started in movies with a contract from Selig Co., later moving between Unversal and Vitagraph. She made several films with actor William Duncan whom she would eventually marry. The pair of them pretty much retired from acting in the mid 1920's. On September 6, 1969, Edith Johnson passed away from injuries she sustaind during a fall.
