Here we have an 8" x 10" high quality photo of movie and stage actor, Spottiswoode Aitken. The original source photo was slightly lower quality as reflected in this print.
Frank Spottiswoode Aitken was born on April 16, 1868 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and debuted in the theatre at age 13. While touring the United States, he met D.W. Griffith who later offered him a contract. Spottiswoode Aitken retired from acting in 1927 because of bad health. He passed away on February 26, 1933.
