Actor Emil Jannings Portraitature by Nicholas Volpe
Here we have a portraitature of movie film actor, Emil Jannings. This is a portraitature completed by Nicholas Volpe of Emil for his Academy Award for best performance by an actor in "The Way Of All Flesh" in 1928.
This was released in 1962 and was part of a collection of prints compiled from the Beverly Hills Brown Derby. This is vintage 1962, not a reproduction. It is not an actual charcoal drawing, but rather a print which was made of the original and issued as part of a set for collectors. Nicholas Volpe was a prominent artist contracted to do portraits each year of the actors and actresses awarded the Oscar for best performance. This remains in as-issued, mint condition and measures an approximate 8" x 10". Again, this is vintage 1962. Not a reproduction.
